You’re donating your valuable time, so it’s important that you enjoy and benefit from your volunteering. To make sure that your volunteer position is a good fit:
Ask questions. You want to make sure that the experience is right for your interests, your goals, and the time you want to spend.

Great way to build confidence, fluency, and English proficiency.
Art & Crafts
Enhance the children's dexterity and agility. It can also help in developing fine motor skills.
Social skills
Kids can learn important skills that they’ll use for the rest of their lives. This includes learning how to: greet others, start a conversation, respond to others, maintain a conversation, share and take turns, ask for help, and much more.
Buddy Time 1 on 1
your child’s buddy (volunteer) will play and do interest-based activities to keep the child engaged and build conversation skills.
Tutor Time 1-1
- free tutoring can provide additional support or practice for the students in academic subjects they struggle in.
Small-Group
A group of 2 or 3 friends can work together with a volunteer and do interest-based activities.

DesiHeart X WeEmbrace
We collaborated with WeEmbrace, an organization dedicated to "Serving individuals with different abilities around the world" to bring them a drama workshop series, paper costume workshop, Sketching workshop. Drama and creative sketching has always been a part of our expression program and we are excited to bring it to new heights!
